What: Opened in 1848 and still family run (Jackie Thin is the current MD) this traditional bookshop is one of Scotland's best and most popular. It stocks a comprehensive range of titles covering a broad range of subjects. If they can't source what you're looking for then nobody can.

What: A small, friendly bookshop that offers a great range of well-priced second-hand books and a large collection of old film posters.
