Edinburgh's main Post Office is at 8 - 10 St James Centre, Edinburgh, EH1 3SR (telephone 0131 556 0478. The St James Centre is at the east end of Princes Street). It is open from 09:00 - 17:30 Monday - Saturday.
In addition, there are over 100 smaller post offices throughout edinburgh and in the suburbs. These sub post offices are usually open Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 17:30 and on Saturday from 09:00 - 12:30. Larger branches often stay open at lunch-time, and smaller ones may close for the afternoon on Tuesday or Wednesday at 13:00.
